30th September 2015
Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Dip
Wind Direction: ENE
Wind Stength: F4
Surf / Sea State: lumpy and smooth
Air Temperature: 16
Sea Temperature: 16
Weather: sun
Max Speed: 21.8 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 15.6 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

On the water 10:15 with Ian. As I rigged a few groynes North the river current was throwing big waves onto shore and as I launched they reached Dip. Thrown back on first attempt then got out. Sea quite lumpy with strong current going South so took some runs to get to Golf as wind was light and swells pushed me in shore. Planed all the time, rough in shore, smooth rollers and chop far out just where gybing. Dropped loads of gybes as choppy far out and wind shadow close in. Tired quick water starting and dragging cammed sail round. When wind picked up gybed a bit better. Packed up 11:45 as shore dump building. Ian out and Paul S battled out through shore dump. Some nice waves building and would have been good if windier and smaller gear.
